We collect the following personal information when you use PadeLove:
Name: For account registration and profile personalization.
Email: For account verification, communication, and account recovery.
Nickname: For your profile and to personalize your experience.
Level: To display your skill level within the app.
Location (City & Country): To provide location-based features, such as finding nearby players. This information is manually entered by you.
Position (Padel): To match you with other players of similar positions in the game.
Image: To personalize your profile and enhance your interactions with others.
Availability: To show when you're available to play and help others schedule matches.
Racket Name: To personalize your profile with your racket choice.
Additionally, if you choose to use certain features, we may collect device information (e.g., device type, operating system, etc.) and usage data (e.g., how often you use certain features) via Firebase or other third-party services to help improve the app.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the data we collect for the following purposes:
Personalizing your profile and improving your experience on PadeLove.
Matching you with other users based on your preferences, skill level, availability, and position in the game.
Facilitating location-based features by using the city and country you provide, to help you find nearby players.
Sending notifications related to your account, updates, or match opportunities.
Providing customer support and communicating with you about your account.
Note: For the MVP stage, we do not use your data for marketing or advertising purposes.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties for any marketing or advertising purposes.
We use Firebase to manage user accounts and store data. Firebase provides secure data storage, authentication, and real-time functionality, but it does not access or share your personal data for marketing or advertising. 4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide services. You can request to delete your account and all associated data at any time via the app's settings or by contacting us directly. Once your account is deleted, we will remove all personal data from our systems.

We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. We use industry-standard encryption techniques to protect data both in transit and at rest. Your personal data is securely stored using Firebase, which employs strong security measures to protect your information.
However, no method of data storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to keep your data safe, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We collect only the city and country you manually provide as your location. We do not use IP-based tracking or GPS to collect location data. You can update or delete your location information at any time by editing your profile in the app.

We do not use cookies or any other tracking technologies in our app for advertising or analytics purposes. The only data collected is the basic information necessary for the app to function properly, such as user authentication and usage tracking for app improvement.
9. Children's Privacy
Our app is intended for users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information immediately.
For users under 13, please note that we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which prohibits us from collecting personal information from children under 13.
